Cephalopods have a closed circulatory system, which is more advanced than other marine organism. The blood remains in the vessels, allowing for more oxygen to be delivered to the tissues, such as the brain and tentacles. Cephalopods have three hearts. The dorsal muscular heart pumps blood to all the tissues.
