Female Dumbo Octopuses lay eggs all year round, therefore they have no set
breeding season
Males have an enlarged segment on one arm which is used to transfer packets of sperm (spermatophores) into the female's mantle cavity
The packets will rupture so the sperm can fertalize the eggs
The female will then lay her eggs undernrocks or shells and leave them to fend for themselves
